Meet Benitses… It might be your next holiday destination
East Corfu, Greece
Benitses is a lively, cosmopolitan resort, where every traveler is bound to find something to suit their taste. Tucked between the coastline and the verdant mountain, Benitses is known to rest within an imposing and unspoiled natural setting, despite the vast tourist activity and development of the 70s and 80s. The resort nestles around two natural coves, boasting beaches mixing sand and pebbles, into a wooded area. The old village itself has lost none of its picturesque charm and a visit there will expose you to the idyllic Greek character of a traditional Corfiot fishing village. Of course, being highly developed throughout the years, Benitses has all the facilities necessary to cover every travelers’ needs; tourist shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Benitses is located 13km south of Corfu town and about 9km from the airport. Its positioning, in the middle of the island is ideal for accessing Corfu town but also other equally inviting resorts; the gorgeous sandy beaches in southern Corfu, as well as the western part of the island. Also, since it is surrounded by lush hills sweeping gently all the way down to the sea, Benitses offers both mountain and sea landscapes, for those who want to enjoy both during their holiday.
This resort is perfect for to those who seek for a lively destination, close to Corfu town and pristine beaches of southern and western Corfu. It is best suited to couples, but young children are also welcome, as the beaches here are safe for them to enjoy.

Buses run from Corfu town all the way to Benitses quite frequently during the summer months. A boat can also be hired from the marina of Benitses to Corfu town.
