We invite you to discover one of the hidden gems of Pelekas Beach (also known as Kontogialos) and a magnet for independent travellers. Set among olive groves and with its own garden and private parking, ‘Rolling Stone’ is just 30 seconds walk from Pelekas Beach and about 20 minutes walk from Pelekas village. (If you don’t want to walk there is also a minibus service from the beach to the village during the high season. At other times we are happy to give you a lift.)
Themis, Ira, and their twin daughters Niki and Danai, are keeping alive the spirit of Pelekas Beach 30 years ago. Pelekas Beach was once a remote place where like-minded people from all over the world came together each summer to enjoy the sea, the sun, music and good company. Although recent years have seen the area around the beach expand, this has brought with it improved facilities. And outside the high season it is still a beautiful, peaceful spot to relax and unwind.
Rolling Stone offers four studios and two self-catering apartments. (Those staying in our studios are welcome to use our fully equipped outdoor kitchen.) We also provide a washing machine, free Wi-Fi Internet access and a printer/copy/scanner. We are about 50 metres from the nearby mini-market. For shopping in the bigger supermarkets you are welcome to join our daily shopping expedition.
During the day you can enjoy our relaxing terrace with its breathtaking panoramic view of the Ionian Sea and its coastline. At night you can chill out on a sunbed or sofa and gaze at the stars.
Themis is always happy to take you for a ride on his boat and show you the wild beauty of the west-coast with its hidden caves and lonely beaches. Another highlight are our BBQ evenings with fresh fish or grilled meats, tasty local food and our homemade wine – inevitably leading to much dancing and partying! If you like, we can help you to celebrate your birthday, anniversary or any other festivity.

Rolling Stone is the perfect base for a family holiday by the sea. Kids are very welcome and there are always toys and other kids to play with. We can arrange excursions, bike or hire car, and transfers to and from the airport or ferry terminal.
However you choose to enjoy your holiday, you are guaranteed a great time at our little “Paradise by the Beach” with its warm and welcoming ‘Rolling Stone’ atmosphere. We look forward to meeting you and your friends.
